We don't do Valentines day! I hate commercialized holidays. I'd rather surprise my husband with a gift on a day he isn't expecting one.

If people have a motivation other than their health of course they are going to gain the weight back. I would guess that any motivation other than health would make it more likely for the person to take drastic measures that will drop weight quickly, but are ultimately unsustainable and unhealthy.

@Ann, I assume you are talking about people who itemize their deductions being unable to file their taxes til mid February. The change that the IRS had to react to happened so late in the year last year that they didn't have time to be ready right away.

People just need to find what works for them as far as how they divide up their calories for the day.

Yeah...41 pounds in a week...I don't even see how that's possible. I mean, I'm sure the vast majority of it was water weight, but something just doesn't seem right about that.
